a lot of people have been comparing the relationship of three of the characters that are featured in our movie city of fragments to the relationship in Jules et Jim...





and although i like Jules et Jim...i've always prefered A Bande Apart (i've always prefered Godard to Truffaut) so if anyone should be accusing me of stealing from anything it oughta be that!!! cause that's where i got it. Jeanne Moreau (although hot and sexy and all that) ain't got nothing on Anna Karina. Moreau was a crazy bitch in Jules & Jim...

margot and i leave sorta early on the 26th for NY and I'm spending part of christmas day in San Diego. I'm sorta looking forward to going back to california but i'm more looking forward to any sort of vaction-related anythings.

UPDATE: I'm here and it's not all the way shitty but it certainly ain't good. if i had a say in anything i'd be on the first flight back home to ny .. like right now. at least in new york i'd have the warm comfort of indifference rather than the ambivalence of whatever should be familiar (but isn't) here.
